Jayne Peirce approached us in January 2011 to discuss the launch of a start-up recruitment business specialising in the travel and tourism sector. Jayne was organised and knew roughly what she wanted, however there was no visual brand and the new site needed to be launched by April the 4th.

Jayne Peirce is well known and established person within recruitment for travel and tourism. Jayne understood that a well built website was an essential requirement to launch a new start-up business.

The Brief

The Brief was to deliver 2 of our core services; brand identity and bespoke website design.  Kick decided to launch the project in multiple phases to gradually start raising awareness of Jayne Peirce’s new brand.

Phase 1 - Brand: To create a classic and instantly recognisable brand identity. A corporate yet personal feel was required and it was essential that the initials JP were used with the logo.

Phase 2 - Website: The second phase was to deliver a professional website design that carried the “think differently” message. Clean design and interesting images we’re fundamental.

Phase 3 - Job Listing Page: The final stage is to create an informative and easy to navigate jobs page. Links to share and apply online were also required.

The Design

Although a corporate design was necessary we wanted to visually bring the website to life with interesting and interactive imagery, after all at Kick we believe that great images are the main contributing factor to any good website. The images used we’re not chosen by chance, carefully consideration was given to the un-conscious thought of the site visitor. Green grass was chosen to symbolise bright horizons!

The site needed to be interesting yet informative, as the navigation would be shared by a number of key audiences; clients looking full fill job placements and candidates looking for new opportunities.

As with all recruitment websites information gathering was a key requirement, information needed to be taken at all levels. We designed a clear layout that gave prominent click to actions.

Overall we delivered a design perfect to the Clients brief, Jayne’s testimonial shows our devotion to this project.
